Misty's Fancy Arrowhead MH Only Female Master Hunter & NSTRA Champion GSP in Nebraska OFA: Good EYE CERF: Clear When Misty ran her Master test she only failed once and that was handler error when I ran her I was still pretty green as a handler that being said I don't know many dogs that can make a clean sweep on there Masters. Misty would have had she not had me as a handler. Misty is a remarkable female that is so versatile, being able to work close in heavy CRP with a great ability to work and track pheasants, or opening up and running a Gundog range for quail on timber lines. She has a great water retrieve and a never quite attitude. While very hard charging, she hunts for you, always knowing where you are at. She is a great example of a hunter only needing one dog to serve many purposes. Her temperament is the icing on the cake. She is a very affectionate kind loving dog that is an excellent house companion. While Misty is a hard charging, foot hunting bird dog, she did earn a second place finish, with four finds, in her first run in AKC Open Gundog fall of 2006. She achieved this placement because of the intelligent way she hunts, showing her ability to adjust her range and work out the cover and looking for objectives that could possibly hold birds. She is always in sight of the handler. Misty is also the only female shorthair in the nation that is a Master Hunter and a NSTRA Champion. Misty is also the 2010 NSTRA Nebraska High Point Dog over all pointing breeds.
